excellent stuff.....with photos too! i was wondering though........i see alot of people like to mic thier speakers at 45 dgree angle facing inside the dust cap, but what if you 45 degree angle facing outside.....say near the outter edge of the cone, so the mics diapram is parrallel with the cones curve shape?

anyone try this?
