If anyone is interested...My Review for Mojo Pie
used it on a snare....very very nice....a 635 omni or a DM1000 AKG....not enough gain (IMO) to push a ribbon, though... If you don't have one of these, you are missing out. If Its Not A Good Idea, Then Why Am I Risking A Career With It? |

Nice review Wireline. I 'm right with you with the Reddi.
I was recording a speed metal player this summer. For tracking drums, I DI'd his tele through a Zen drive into the Reddi. After retracking the guitar through his amp, he kept saying, "I really want the tone like when we tracked the drums." My favorite use of the Reddi is to drive other preamps. I'm almost overwhelmed by the sonic options. My favorite bass tone, so far, came froma Reddi into an MP-2 into an MC77. If only I knew 1/10th. |

A-Designs had a listening party here in Austin and I picked one up directly from Peter. Wonderful deal was offered and I just couldn't pass it up.
& this one is a second edition with a 1/4" through on it. They moved the power and ground switches to the back to make room for the 1/4" through. Life is good. |
