Chattin' is fun.

It's much faster paced, and you don't get the chance to edit yourself..

It's a much better picture of who we are....

It's also a great way to exchange ideas and opinions on new things we are trying out musically, and in our studios...

At some other boards it usually gets announced in the OT section: "Hey, I am in the chat room..."

Or something along those lines.

Dan was doing this for a while here.

Maybe we could just bump the ALL HANDS TO THE CHAT ROOM THREAD!

Dan, It might also be really cool if you or Ronan, Et al (Moderators)

once in a while hosted a chat..

In a way a Q+A...but more just leading the discussion.

A slightly different take on your forum idea might be to install some Wiki software.

Wiki allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. It could be something like dictionary, or an open-community handbook.

People could post tips on mic placement (with photos - handy!), sound samples of gear, hisotyr of gear, and anything else we think is cool.

In otherwords, a pro audio Wikipedia. Just a thought...

Hey Dan, how about a category that would be a collection of album reviews (both major label and indie). Seems folks had some nice things to say about Dylan's new album, would be nice to read those all in one area.
